Itinerary
Day 1: The Great Musical Bake-Off (April 27)
Whip up a batch of your favorite influences' sounds. Dive into what you love about each one, and how they connect with who you are.
Get hands-on with a blend of experiments, mixing a pinch of this with a dash of that, under the guidance of our maestro mixologists (a.k.a. our industry expert coaches).
Start brewing your own signature concoction of sounds and styles. Warning: may cause spontaneous outbreaks of joy.
Day 2: Show, Tell, and Revel in Applause (May 4)
With the maestro touch of your newly refined sound, it’s time to showcase your masterpiece. I’ll be there to give you the kind of feedback that’s like a warm hug for your music soul.
Share your creation with fellow participants, bask in the glory of their admiration, and give your two cents on their sonic innovations. It’s a love fest of constructive critique and mutual admiration!
Hey there, I’m Jess!
After spending my school years in musicals and classical music that were only about doing things the way they were written, I was finally able to step into my own indie artist journey by re-imagining cover songs. I mixed together vocal sounds and music elements by my favorite artists and created covers like this and this and this.
And that’s what all artists do! (Including all those composers I learned about!) We blend our influences together and put our story and personality in the lead.
Since starting my own journey, I’ve helped so many folks figure out how to craft their own unique sound, and I can’t wait to take yours to a new level!
